A. Immediately send legal notice to the bank by asking them why your property is not eligible, so has the Bank financed on illegal property. As per my knowlege you must NOT have filled the PMAY (pradhanmantri awas yojna ) subsidy form at time of applying for the loan. Also you must NOT have a female name in PMAY (pradhanmantri awas yojna ) subsidy loan, as if there is female name in applicant or Co-applicant such application CANNOT get rejected.

A. Yes, She can claim it anytime in ahead. Make sure you close all the accounts or SIP & make all it in your Parents Name etc. Try to keep minium property in your Name OR you can keep it in your's Name jointly with Mother Or Father. Also make sure incase of JOINT NAMES keep your Name in 2nd Position with your parents.

A. As you have said that you have mutual fund investment in your name & mother is just a Nominee. And as per rules Nominee is the beneficiary of the amount only after the death of the policy/ investment Holder. So by default wife get a share of it after divorce if the court directs so. Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Housing Subsidy Eligibility) is valid ONLY for NEW construction of house having a plan approved from the Municipal Corporation/ Gram Panchayat / Tahasildar Office with a proper Architect plan OR Purchase of a NEW FLAT & the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana has to be filled at the time of applying for loan. Also you have to pay 12 EMI regularly to avail refund from Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.
