Transfer of property with registered will but no property papers
3 years ago
My mother died recently with a will properly registered in favour of four brothers including me and my 3 brothers The property was in her name although registry papers are lost for all we know as she lived alone. The house tax (mutation) is also under her name. But we do not know the year of sale or purchase of the property. Our sister is now demanding a share in property although she is disowned by our mother hence the will. We do not even have xerox of the papers. What should be our legal recourse from here. A.Hi,
You can ask for the records at the municipal office and showing that record you can register the property as per the will.

A.Dear Client
File a search application Of the documents on your mother name, then you all can process the execution of will, you can even get the details from municipality records,
Once you obtain the details then issue a legal notice to your sister that all you brothers have got a registered will deed on your name
