IS BC-C caste certificate valid in case of converted Christians from castes other than Scheduled castes?
a guy who belongs to Backward caste applied for BC-C certificate since they are into Christianity long back. and It is mentioned as BC-C in transfer certificate of school. Both TC and Baptism certificate are submitted to Concerned Authority and then certificate is issued. . But in the certificate, it is mentioned as "person belongs to Scheduled Castes converted to Christianity/a caste which is backward as recognized by government. Is the certificate valid in his case since he doesn't belong to SC but belongs to BC community? Can he use the certificate in case of admission or should he apply as General category?
