Cheque bounced Cheque bounced

The cheque is bounced. After multiple tries, I have recovered 70% amount from him but 30 % amount is pending. Still bounced cheque with me only and valid for 2 more months.

Can I deposit the cheque for the remaining 30℅ amount once again? But my concern is the check is mentioned with the full amount(100℅) but already I have recovered 70% amount.
Please advise Can I straight away deposit existing cheque once again in bank ?

A.Dear Client
Issue a legal notice about the balance payment to settle, if his reply is not positive, then file a civil case for collection of remaining balance

A.Hi.
If in that account you have sufficient balance or the balance in the account is more than the amount which you had mentioned in the cheque, then you can deposit the money. However, you cannot withdraw, if in the account there is an insufficiency of the fund or if the amount in the cheque exceeds the balance present in the bank account then it may result into dishonour of cheque or bouncing back of the cheque which makes it a punishable offence as par section 138 of the NI Act.

A.Yes you can present the cheque in the bank and can recover your remaining amount latter settle down the issue after receiving the amount. It is absolutely nothing wrong in presenting the cheque at the bank for your remaining amount.
