Maternal property transfer right Maternal property transfer right

Our mother died 15 years back, she left a property which is registered in her name. Recently our father has also died leaving behind six of us. Now we came to know that the property left by our mother had been transferred and subsequently sold some years back by one of our brothers without the knowledge of any one of us including our father. As far our knowledge is concerned our mother did make any gift deed/will regarding the property. How can I object this, please advise.

A.Hi,
You can file a case contesting that the land belongs to all the children and without the consent of all, the property has been sold thus making the sale of the property void.

A.If Gift deed was NOT made, You can file Civil case against your brothers and purchaser for the illegal sale.
if "WILL" is there then it has to be challenged.

Hope this clarifies,
