I work with a small commercial goods carrier (transport org)., one of our vehicle which is carrying pharmaceuticals medicine of a customer from hyderabad to mumbai met with road accident near pune , police seized the vehicle and found driver fault and he was taken into custody, our client's both the consignor and consignee demands us to get release the goods from police., being the medicinal goods , they are very sensitive, hence please suggest us for further , as per our clients, police can;t seize the goods. If you can give us any valid documents or GOVT Notification to release the goods it will help us alot. We informed police that we will continue to cooperative for the leagal case but goods we need to handover to the client which is ment for re-export to another country

A.Hi,
I'd recommend that you get all the relevant documents in order i.e. the order details, invoices, transport permits and inventory log before approaching the police. The police will then inform you how to go about it, but if they refuse, you shall have to approach the Court with a petition to release the items.

A.Hi,
I'd recommend that you get all the relevant documents in order i.e. the order details, invoices, transport permits and inventory log before approaching the police. The police will then inform you how to go about it, but if they refuse, you shall have to approach the Court with a petition to release the items.

A.Since the goods referred in your post are medicines, you need to deposit all relevant permits, invoices etc., to the police. Upon verification the police will file their report. You can file an application for release of the said medicines. If it is not allowed, you need to file an application before court seeking release of the seized medicines.
