Lawyer demanding more fees for returning the document.

Lawyer is demanding the rate of the property which we gave for running the case. it is almost like he won the case and he want to keep that property. were in we have given him to run the case on behalf of us.

You can approach the State Bar Council if your lawyer is asking for amount more than what was initially agreed upon.

A.Hi,
You only have to pay the fees you initially agreed to. If the lawyer asks for increment you can refuse the same. You can lodge a complaint to the State Bar Council for such unprofessionalism.

demanding more fees for returning the document ?
so given which documents ? given property documents or PoA or what ?
you have to pay the agreed fees only.
if lawyer is demanding more fees then you can refuse.
he have to return the documents after getting agreed fees.
