Does B final report affect anyone in getting selected for IAS/IPS.? Does B final report affect anyone in getting selected for IAS/IPS.?

Hello
I have been accused with section 341,323,324,504,109 r/w 34 of IPC and it has been cancelled through B final report without any trials in any court.
However this is the only one case which has been filed against me.

The question is,

As i am preparing for Civil services, does it effect my selection if i get select for IAS/IPS.?

Should i have to leave preparing for Civil services if UPSC really considers me as a Criminal.?

A.Hi,
As you have been acquitted from the proceedings, it will not have an effect on you getting selected for the Civil Services. You can approach the police and have their report clearly mention that you were acquitted if there's a chance it could become a problem.

A.Hi,
As the B report has been filed, this means you are no longer a suspect in the case. This will not affect your selection to the Civil Services. However, you may go to the police station to insist on them adding that you were dismissed from the case so that the record reflects it.
