can i file case of extortion in below mentioned incident

a recovery agent trying to extort money by giving false information about him that he is a lawyer and he has a notice of sec 420 of cheating and if i do not pay the amount in 3 days he will lodge f.i.r.
also he make fake call with help of other unknown person as a police inspector and the person told me to pay and said that the recovery agent is came here to lodge complaint if you don't pay i will lodge f.i.r and arrest you.
After i complaint to the bank, nodal officer denied that no notice is sent by them and accept that the recovery agent is from their company, they are investigating in case as per call recording which i provided. Also nearest police station denied of any call made and no such person is on their record.
can i file case of extortion?

Yes, you may go ahead with the case of extortion. As, all the essentials of extortion are fulfilled.
Since all the ingredients of extortion are present you may file the case of extortion.
