Fraud case Fraud case

I'm 31 y/o man and got married last year. It was arranged marriage. My parents had shared my birth details with my in laws, in which they changed the birth timings but birth date was correct. Now my wife and in laws found the correct details through my birth certificate. They are threatening to file divorce case and fraud case against me and my parents.

Please advise if this would count under fraud case- giving wrong birth time details. Thanks.

A.If the details was intentionally altered by your parents then its wrong. Hence it becomes the matter of misrepresentation, not fraud.

A.Mere not mentioning of worong time of birth does not amount to fraud if no prejudice or loss has been caused to your in laws. Don't take any action but only send a complaint to local police station apprehending false implication

Its just nothing. This is not a ground for divorce. Dont bother. If this is the only reason for which your inlaws are threatning you than u need to worry at all. Court could not grant divorce on this ground aline.
