My father purchased two shops in his name by his money. My father died on 03.11.2010 & my grandmother did not claims her share in my father's property till She alive & expired on 30.05.2011. After the death of my grandmother the property got transferred to my Mother's name my sister's name & my self in 2016. Now my uncle claims his mother's share which is not claimed by my grandmother. Please suggest me what to do.

A.A. Your uncle cant claim share in that property which was purchased by your father out of his funds. It was his self acquired property and yur uncle have no share in that property. Your uncle could have claimed his share if would have been an ancestral property.

A.Property has to go as pee schedule of Hindu succession act.if u have taken a succession certificate from the court, then ur uncle can't do anything. Let him go to the court.
