My grandfather has got a few set of properties from his grandfather. My grandfather have 4 sons and 7 grandchildren. Now, my grandfather is dead. How the property would be divided? Is it divided between 4 sons, or? Between 7 grandchildren?

The fours sons would all get equal shares of the property.
The grandchildren will not have a claim as long as their fathers are alive.
