Care taker for 70 years Care taker for 70 years

Sir we have a property which we were taking care of for more then 70 years we have build a compound wall and have plentyod coconut trees,Ther owner of this property is dead long back and have no body behind.How can i claim this property?
The papers are missing plz help...as to how to go about

A.Hi,
You will have to file a suit for adverse possession and show that you have been in uninterrupted use and possession of the property for longer than 12 years. You can then get new documents created.

A.Hi,
File a suit for adverse possession in civil Court. You can then approach the Sub-Registrar's office with the Court decree to get new documents created.
