Partition of Residential land to the sons on death of a father as per WILL Partition of Residential land to the sons on death of a father as per WILL

In chennai a land was wriiten as a WILL by the father to his four sons. He however did not mention which land belongs to which son and he died. Now what is the legal position while alloting the share to each son. will the order of partition be first son getting the land from the road and so on

A.Hi,
As no share has been allotted to any son or child specifically in the will, it will be shared equally between all of them. Thank You

Since no share was specified in the will, the properties will be distributed equally among all the sons.

A.Since your father has in his will mentioned land to be given to all four sons but did not specify what proportion of which land to be given to whom therefore it will be conceived as equivalent share of each land among four sons.
