Plaintiff and defendant has agreed for settlement. Now case stage is in settlement (reflecting online)
However the both lawyers were not presented the comprise petition only orally it has been mentioned as settlement. However Defendant has paid Rs. 4Lakhs out of 8Lakh as per mutual agreement during first settlement hearing.
But is subsequent hearing the plaintiff is absent to receive the remaining amount. It is unable to complete the case.
Any suggestion.

A.First you must clear about which case you are talking about. Whether it is a matrimonial case or a civil case.
If it is a matrimonial case than there is no need to place the compromise memo on record as it is recorded in court statement of the parties.
And if it is a civil case than yiu may or may not file a compromise depending upon the favts and circumstances of the case
