My grandfather had 2 nd a half cent of land and it was divided to 4 brothers by oral talks before 10years and now one of the brother is claiming for the part which was given for me what type of action can i make

A.Dear Sir,
If your brother files a case against you then the burden to prove the property in his possession lies on him and on your behalf your brothers can act as a witness to proving the statement which 10 yrs old. Other You can also file a suit under permanent injunction by showing the property is under your possession and can claim it.

A.Dear Sir,
You can file a case against your brother as permanent injunction under section 38 of specific relief act. You have to show the actual possession of the property. Burden of proof to prove the possession will lie on you. Also in defense if your brother files a case against you, other two brother can act a witness in support of your statement.
