A.A tenant has right to get ration card and any other necessary documents at the rented flat or accommodation, but the tenant has no right to claim the rented premises as ownership by the strength of ration card or other documents. Any more details consult me. Thank You

A.Hi,
Since there is an agreement between you and the tenant, they cannot claim the property.

A.If there is a tenancy agreement then it is a duty cast upon to provide rent receipt to the tenant on payment of rent Now if you do not have rent receipt but only a register where signature of the tenant is obtained while paying rent that would suffice as rent receipt.

Making ration card with your house address will not make or change their status any better. They would still remain tenant and you can evict them if you want on certain grounds under the law.

if you need help with the case then consult a lawyer to get them evicted.
