Sir my father bought 24 bighas of land 20 years ago for 50 thousand rupees.Then they did not get that land registered.Now what to do if that person is not registering

A.20 years sleep is way more than kumhkaran.
why the need to awake suddenly after 20 years ?
legal remedy depends on who have possession of land ?
if you dont have possession then nothing can be done.

A.Dear Sir,
You can file a case for specific performance of the contract. The owner is legally bound to register the sale deed, you can file a lawsuit against him to seek court's directions to him to honour his promise reduced to writing. You can also seek compensation from him for delay in the registration of the sale deed.

A.Dear Sir,
The owner is legally bound to register the sale deed in your favour, failing which you can file a lawsuit against him to seek court's directions to him to honor his promise reduced to writing. In addition to this, you can also seek compensation from him for delay in the registration of the sale deed. You can file a suit for specific performance of contract.

A.20 years ago is too long a time period for you have not taken an action at all, though you can send a notice and request the seller to come forward. well you can try !
