Police complaint DDR

Hi,
My wife has filed a DDR against me for dowry after 12 years of marriage. Police is going to send me notice to appear in front of them as I belong to another state. Can I avoid to visit the police station there as I have filed divorce.

A.You must appear before the police and must explain to them all the facts and circumstances. It would be against you if you does not appear before the police

A.Better to take help of a Family matter lawyer as the case is in the initial stages and defend your case to avoid strictingest conditions of the case and protect your interest quickly, any non-cooperation and avoidance will be against your interest .

After getting DD by the magistrate the police automatically files FIR and take hunting operations against accused.So you have to consult local advocate for AB.

A.If u don't appear , police may register FIR soon and if u appear, proceedings can be dropped also or settlement arrived at.So appear without any second thought.
