MVC Case Delay MVC Case Delay

I filed MVC case in 2019 but opposite party still not came till now. Insurance Company is putting blame on us and accused. Our lawyer saying nothing can be done until accused comes. When I asked then my lawyer said accused not coming because they not got summons. I not understand all this.

1- why accused not got summon when insurance company got it long back ?
2- accused is playing any games by not taking summons ?
3- I trust my lawyer but is it possible he is not taking case seriously ?

A.Hi,
There are some delays in the court process of serving summon and due to the pandemic this period of delay has increased manifold in your case. You can enquire with the the court regarding the address of the accused again but other than that you can trust your lawyer and wait for your hearing date.
