My mother is the lone issue of my late grandfather. someone from my maternal village informed me about a piece of land in her village in the name of my grand father and about someone trying to sell that land illegally. How can I save my mother 's land because the problem is that -
1 . she is living in a far away town with my brother .
2 . Brother has snapped off all his contacts with me due to family misunderstandings .
3 I have neither brother 's phone number nor his address.

A.Aap himself kuch nhi kar sakte hai. Jab tak competent successor samne nhi hoga. Aap real successor ko samne lakar competent authority ko application move kar sakte hai. Yadi yaha se problems solved nhi hoti hai tab competent court me case filing kar sakte ho.

A.Hi,
If it is the ancestral property then your mother has a right to claim interest in it as she is a legal heir. However you will have to find your brother first in order tp claim your right before the registrar's office.

A.Hi,
You may have to find your mother in order to protect the land. You can take the police's help to locate your brother and subsequently visit the revenue inspector's office to ascertain that the piece of land is your mother's.

A.To ascertain your brother's address you can lodge a police complaint of missing person or seek their help to find him out. Once you have found him out and your mother then you can take the necessary steps legally to protect the land which belongs to your mother and ultimately to you and to your brother.
