Information on inheritance of ancestral land property Information on inheritance of ancestral land property

I hail from chennai and there is an ancestral property which we inherit in Andhra pradesh. We dont have any documents apart from a book which Hypothetically shows some survey numbers under my mother's name. The land with present shareholders is taken care by the younger brother of my grandfather which is use to be a agricultural land. now he has half share and other half which should be split into 3 sons of my grandfather. I couldnt find the whereabouts of the land as on a paper with survey numbers and its location, so that we could agree between us to see which part can be split among us. the person who i mentioned above knows it. i couldnt summon other two brothers of my late father at once due to friction. how can i claim my land.

A.Hi,
Without knowing your land details, you can't approach the court. You have to collect details of your land and have to get relevant documents by visiting various government departments. Then you can file a civil case for claiming your right.

A.Dear Sir,
Without getting land details you cannot file any case. Better visit the villages in which your forefathers were having landed properties and get details of such lands by visiting Sub-Registrar office thereafter work out to file civil case.

A.it is necessary on your part to give legal Notice to the younger brother of your grandfather asking him to provide the property details as well as for execution and registration of Deed of Partition within stipulated period and in default on his part to provide you the relevant data, you have to do the necessary searching in the concerned Block Land & Land Reforms Office for the LR Parcha in that regard in respect of those Survey Numbers in your mother's name.

Thereafter it is necessary to file Partition Suit before the District Court of Andhra Pradesh under whose jurisdiction that property situates and have to take injunction and Status quo Order so that the co-sharers can neither change the nature and character of that property nor can transfer the property during the pendency of Partition Suit.
