A.Hello
Yes property on name of father can be sold as descendants. If you are the legal heir then you have all the right to sell the property to anyone after your father's death. For that you'll have to obtain an Succession Certificate from the court and mutate the property in your name then you could sell it to anyone in your name also.

After your father's death you and your siblings will be the legal heir to the property and you all be having all the rights to sale your share of property to anyone.

A.Yes but depends on how the descendant get the right to sell the property legally? That you have to find out whether the right to alienate the property meaning to sell the property has been transferred or not.

A.Father ki death ke baad uski property uske vanshaj ko hi jaati hai. Isliye aap jitne bhi unke vanshaj hai property ko sale kar sakte hai.
Agar ek vanshaj property ko sale Ä·arna chata hai to vah apne share tak property ko sale kar sakta hai.

A.The name of your deceased father in the record of right will not preclude you from alienating the property if you are otherwise competent to do so. Hence ensure that you are eligible to dispose off the property.

A.Dear client,
If your father died intestate, i.e., died without making a will, and you have more than one descendant (heir), free consent from everyone, for selling the whole property or those portions of the property which are vested in them, is required. However, if you want to sell your portion exclusively, you can do so, since you are legally an heir and owner to that portion you would like to sell.
If your father executed a will where sale of property is not restricted explicitly or impliedly, or you have been permitted to sale the whole or any portions of the property, you can do so.
If your father is still alive and hasn't executed a will, he's still the owner of the property and take his permission explicitly.
