Leave and license agreement

The tenancy contract is on my and my friends name . she wants to give the owner the 30 days notice and Leave. However I want to stay . Due to this disagreement. Is it legal for one to leave without my agreement on the 30 day notice
?
As we share the rent expense and deposit. Please help
