I brought a Lays 20Rs packet which I am keeping safely (sealed) as it has only 2 or 3 chips inside (I am guessing by the sound and weight).

What possibly legal action I can take. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

A.Hi,
You can sue the company in the consumer court and ask for compensation. If you have any other losses pursuant to the purchase, you can claim that too from the company.

A.Hi,
You can sue the company in consumer court. You can claim for the compensation and that not only includes the money you have paid for the purchase but also includes all the losses you had pursuant to it.
