New Car AC Malfunctioning
Case Description
Dear Sir, With my hard earned money I purchased a new car in July 2018.I stay in Bangalore.It has just run 170 Km's.AC not working and they were unable to conclude what is wrong? I do not want to repair the Car as the AC is not working from Day 1.I have already sent a mail also to their helpline.They want to do all sorts of R&D on my car which I am not willing to accept.I asked for a New Car or Refund.If this does not work I am planning to go legal. Pl give me your opinion on the same. Regards

A.dear client you need to issue notice to the dealer and the manufacturer for replacement of faulty AC within stipulated time and if not done file consumer case in the District Forum against them.i hope you will get proper resolution with damages.

A.Send them a legal notice first and if they fail to accept your demands file a complaint before consumer forum.

A.Go to consumer forum for deficiency in service and deficiency in product delivered ask for replacement and compensation.

A.Hello,

First you can issue a legal notice mentioning the defects of your car and asking them for the refund of the money with interest. If they are not willing then file a consumer case .

A.Present the car for replacement along with the request for replacement of faulty AC as per the warranty clause.Take reply in writing to your letter if not replaced. you can have fit case to file complaint before the Consumer Forum.

Dear Sir,

Thanks for your courtesy reply.
As the vehicle is brand new and just run 170 Km's and the problem is from Day 1.I do not want any repairs of vehicle as I feel that this is a manufacturing defect.and they want to do all R & D with my vehicle.The Car was inspected twice in dealers place and they could not conclude about the problems.Now for understanding the problems they want to open the entire front components and check.
My mind is not willing to carry out any repair as the Car is Brand New.Can I ask for entire Car Replacement?
Pl suggest.

A.Send a legal notice.. to dealer.. where u purchased Ur car ... In legal notice mention that replacement for Ac ...if they are not responding.. then file a case against the dealer.. in consumer court...

A.Send a written notice to the manufacturer and dealer for replacing defective Ac and other components. If not done within stipulated time given in notice ( atleast 15 days) file a complaint in consumer court.
