How to get Legal heir certificate
We are a family for 4 people me, my elder sister, mother and father. My father has died due to ill health in karnataka. The house property we have is in maharashtra. The address of my mother and me is of maharashtra and the address of my elder sister is of karnataka. My mother is not in situation to travel to Mumbai and I need to register the property of my father and even transfer pensions to my mother. Now how to and in which state I can do a legal heir certificate, please advice me.
A.Dear Client
You need to reach out to the Tehsildar or the local councilor of the area and apply for issuing the legal heir certificate. Once you have received the legal heir certificate then you will need to have the succession certificate for the property and post that you can get the property registered in any name you want on the basis of the legal heir and succession certificate.

A.Dear Client,
You have to approach the state's Taluk office/Tehsildar's office where the property is located, from where you can find a form, and certain documentation and evidence like Aadhar, Pan, etc. would be required by them, you shall submit the same, and your legal heir certificate can be availed.
Thanks
