Who is owner of property if flat purchased directly from builder in Mumbai chs if agreement for sale mentions both husband and wife name , however deed of confirmation mentions only husband name (both of agreement for sale and deed of confirmation got registered together in 1996) while index 2 mention only husband name

A.Dear client,
Both of them have the legal right over the property. The confirmation deed is the legal validity of the estate. but both of them have legal title over the property.

A.Dear Client.
Agreement for sale is a document which respecifies that who will be the seller and buyer of the property when the whole payment is done. I hope you are not talking about Sale Deed which is different from agreement to sale. If that be the case then as per the confirmation deed only husband will be the owner
