Partition of Property - by registering Pharikath patra
2 years ago
My father(58) and his brother(Died) Partitioned in 1972 by registering Pharikath patra in Subregister office. Due to some issues they didn't transfer some properties to their respective names. My father's sister (63) is claiming for Partition in our property now. What should we do?
A.Dear client,
Partition of property is subjected to laws of inheritance. Each divides the shares of the assets and get new title. If the property is ancestor property then your father's sister has the right to claim the property.
