Can revenue inspector alienate ancestor property? Can revenue inspector alienate ancestor property?

A revenue inspector has alienated our ancestral land to third party who did not purchase the land from us and he does not have the original title deed as well and without our consent. Does the revenue inspector has got authority to alienate the land without approval from Deputy Commissioner?

I will consider this as quite weird that a revenue inspector is alienating the property to some third party and would have challenged his action in the court of law. You need to seek advice from a lawyer after showing all the docs and sharing the facts to challenge this.
