Property missing-My father purchased a land in 1972

My father purchased a land in 1972 in grampanchayat of solapur district.He sold the property in 2012 alongwith his friend who also has a land in same plot.But later whom we property told us that the property is missing and someone else telling it's his property so after few days he repurchased the property from him but his friends property in some plot had no issue.When we sold the property he have got 7 12 extract on my fathers name ,but since last 4 years it's not showing in 7 12 extract.What should we do how shall we get back our plot.

After so many years the buyer cannot raise issue like that. You are not liable for him for anything because he must be intelligent to get into physical possession of such property.
