my wife has filed a petition for divorce and requested to award costs and expenses pertaining to this case . does this mean she is claiming for maintenance or alimony?

A.She is asking you to pay the cost of the case that she is going to bear.

A.dear client in your case The terms Costs and expenses in relation to the case stands for, " She has praying before the court for also granting the cost that would be incurred to file the case of divorce along with out of pocket expenses.

A.No it means she is asking you to pay the cost of the case that she is going to bear. In case the judgement in not in your favour or other wise also the court may order you to bear the cost of fighting this case by your wife, on you.
