Divorce -I am working in the private sector Divorce -I am working in the private sector

Dear Sir,

I am working in the private sector and earning 40k per month abroad. I recently discovered that my wife is involved with someone else.I asked about this and she said yes. I do not have any savings and I have given everything to her account. I've stopped transferring money for the past two months. I recently received a call from an advocate for the maintenance amount. Now my questions are:

1. She cheated on me. So, is it possible to divorce her?

2. Recently She completed a post-graduate course. I only spent the amount for her studies and we had a 10 year old boy. Is it necessary to give monthly maintenance?

3. How much do I have to give?

4. Is it possible to recover my saving amount from her?

A.Dear client I am sorry to hear that. Sir in this case you can file a divorce under Section 13 of the Hindu Marriage Act. Moreover , since she cheated on you, she is not entitled to any maintenance.
However, recovering the given amount is not possible.
