We conducted election in 2018 on our own with out govt representative. Now one member has complained to deputy registrar saying election is invalid. Deputy registrar has asked us to show us the document where it is written that election officer is not needed. Please help. The complainant is a big defaulter

Under the provisions of relevant Act and Rules you are not suppose to conduct such election . just say to him that due to ignorance of law you have conducted elections by yourself. you can ask that officer to depute any government officer and fresh elections may be conducted.
