Dear sir my area on city survey paper 1660 sqft but actual area is 2100 sqft.can I get permission from muncipality to construct on extra land.and I have purchased boundaries but area on paper is less and I have no time for city survey appeal for extra land procedure

A.You will get building plan sanction based on the schedule of property mentioned in the deed of conveyance. Have you obtained mutation certificate for your property, which are a must when you apply for plan sanction along with up to date property tax.

A.Generally municipal authorities give permission as per their records.Therefore get their records updated/corrected and thereafter appk for permission. Seek advice from a local architect for further advice.
