Advice regarding property issue - A and B are brothers

Mr. A and B are brothers. A is elder than B. B sold property to C stating it is his self acquired property. And property is also on the name of B. Now A sent a legal notice to person B and C stating B has sold property to C which B purchased from joint family fund.How s C should proceed further
A.In my humble suggestion, C can file a case before the Court stating that he was a bona fide buyer of the said property.
