Property dispute - eligible to claim my right
1 year ago
Am I eligible to claim my right on my father's property as I have helped to complete his home loan and I have paid for most of the amount of it?
A.In my humble suggestion, you have the full right to make a claim for a share of the property owned by your father, but only after his death. You cannot assert your right to a share of his self acquired property throughout his lifetime.

A.Dear Sir,
If you have such concreate and solid evidence then you can claim your amount but your story may not be accepted by the court.

A.Being a child of your parents, you have all the right to claim share of right on your father's property but only after his death... During his life time, you cannot claim your share of right on his self acquired property during his life time.

A.Dear Client
If the property is registered in the name of your father then you do not have any direct rights on the same even though you have made the payments. What you can do is ask your father to make a will in your favour or gift the house to you.
