What to do, i am 5th owner of my property i have last 3 owners original property documents but not 1st 2 owners original its been 30 years now we need to sell this property but buyer demand that he need that original document of 1st 2 owners ....which was not given to us 30 years before by our previous owner and we cannot give complaint for lost documents because we didn't receive it from our previous owner....
Now Buyer asking us to give fir for lost documents and demanded concession need solutions?

A.Dear sir, the last three copies shall contain all the details required by the new buyer, thus the information needed can be covered from there.

A.First of all the details of the buyer and seller along with measurement of property and date shall be mentioned in all the deeds as preceding history... So the details of the 1st and 2nd owner may be retrieved from such details. Henceforth, having the last 3 owners deed of conveyance in respect of the said property is more than enough for legal validity... With the help of those three deeds, the new buyer can mutate his property also.... When any office ask for chain of deeds, in most cases if all the records are upto dated then it refers to the new deed, previous deed of the owner and the last deed conveyance but it is noticed that the competent authority ask for chain of deeds until the last recorded name of the owner is found.

A.Dear Sir,

Certified copies of 30 years old document will treated as its original. It will be also reflected in the encumbrance certificate.
