Agriculture Land Dispute

We have agriculture land 7+ acres with areca trees as main crop. This is our grandfather land which currently owned by my father. But in that 40 cent is not in our land record but we are doing agriculture for 25+ years. Now these other party is asking to free that land or give another other part of our land as compensation of 40 cents. So pls suggest do we lose the land if they go to court
A.You might loose the land, since it's not registered in your name, so it's better not to go to the court and waste money and your time but instead hiring a alocal lawyer to settle the matter without getting involved with the court.
