Property Papers - My father in law gave their flat document

In 2017, My father in law gave their flat documents/papers to his brother in lower for loan purpose and considered my father in law as guarantor. His brother in law informed that I ll give the flat's papers back within some days/months. And the loan expiry date was 2020. Still the loan is not yet closed. And due to personal family reason my father in law is in no relation with the brother in law family. Now, we have received 2 letter/notice from the bank stating to recover the loan amount within 7 days orelse they will come to father in law's place to recover the same. Now, what action can we take against this? Please let us know urgently.

A.Dear client, in my humble suggestion, since your father was a guarantor of the loan, the bank has all the right to recover the same from your father. However, you can approach the Court and put forth your contention there.
