Cheating by complainant

Respected Sir,
I had borrowed 20000/- from someone and given 2 blank cheques to them for the guarantee.I returned the money to him but he did not give the cheques.He said that in a few days I will return the cheques.But he made a case by bouncing a cheque.Now I do not have any proof.The lawyer saying will have to pay the money.What do I do now.
Please advice me as soon as possible.

A.Depends whether you paid in cash or by cheque.

A.The matter is bit complicated. the money you have returned has been cash or through check? Find some proof and file first information report against the said person.
