Share in property - 10 acres of agricultural land
1 year ago
In my father's name there is 10 acres of agricultural land in which some land is bagair hukum land say,6 acres. My father died but mother is alive and we are 5 sisters and one elder brother in family. (I being one of the daughters in family)
Now while dividing for share in property what will be my share among normal land and bagair hukum land.
Clearly I have no idea what is bagair hukum land.. please help me with this
A.Bagair hukum is a piece of government-owned/forest land that has been cultivated by the farmers over the years without having any formal and documented ownership rights over it. You, your sisters and your brother will only have the rights over the 4 remaining acres of land.
