Can a daughter relinquish her property rights in her parental property only on the basis of a notarized affidavit? This affidavit is unregistered (not signed / stamped by sub registrar). It does not have any photograph and witness signatures. This affidavit is for a Noida based plot.

A.Dear client,
A notarized affidavit is valid in court, however, in the absence of any witnesses an affidavit is not considered legal or official.
Hope it helps.

A.Hello Client,

A notarized affidavit can also be considered a valid affidavit but without any witness signature, it can not be considered a valid one. Also, in such a scenario it is advised to get a first-class affidavit with proper signatures.
also, such affidavit does not need sub registrar's signature or stamp.

Thanks & Regards

A.Dear Sir,
It is invalid. The Supreme Court and Indian Registration Act says that for any type of transfer of property registration is compulsory with appropriate document that is it may be sale deed or gift deed or release deed and not by unregistered notarized affidavit.
