My PG Owner Is Forcing Me To Shift To An Old Building And When We Shifted To The Old Building There Were No Rooms We Are Forced To Stay Either In Hall Or He Told Us To Shift With Someone Else's Room Like Keep Your Luggage There And Stay Somewhere Else And Like This Was His Response And He Is Not Answering Any Of Our Calls Now And Forcefully Told Us To Leave The PG And He Has Not Also Refunded Our Money And His Only Saying I Will Refund On July And Then Postponing It Again And Again

Firstly, you can send a legal notice to the PG owner and demand him to refund the amount. You can also file a complaint to the local police and seek appropriate action against him. Further, the disputes between the tenant and landlord are resolved under the State-specific Rent Control Act. A Rent Controller or Additional Rent Controller is appointed to deal with the dispute arising out of a rental agreement. You can file an application about your grievance to the concerned Rent Controller and seek to resolve the issue appropriately. If required, you can consult an advocate for advice and assistance in the matter.

A dispute between a tenant/PG and landlord/Building owner is resolved under the state-specific Rent Control Act under which a Rent Controller or Addl Rent Controller is appointed to deal with the dispute arising out of a rent agreement between the parties. In the prevailing situation, you can file an application explaining your grievance against the arbitrary demand and unethical behaviour refusing to refund the security deposit before the concerned Rent Controller or Addl Rent Controller to resolve the issue legally and amicably.
