My friend a kidney patient, an ex-servicemen, father of two male children having bought a piece of land in the name of his wife and having constructed a house... Before his retirement, his wife absconded with another person leaving my friend and his children. The house in which he is residing is in his absconded wife's name.. can he claim it back.

Your Friend can not claim the title back without the consent of his ex-wife and proper registration of the property in his name. The property will get transferred to his ex-wife's legal heirs afterwards (i.e her current husband and all the children).

A.Hi client,
If he has registered the said property in her name already by a sale deed or a gift deed , it cant be revoked or cancelled.
He can file a divorce case alleging all the complaints against her.
