Is family tree issued BY a STATUTORY AUTHORITY needed - Flat purchase? Is family tree issued BY a STATUTORY AUTHORITY needed - Flat purchase?

I have booked a 3BHK flat in Bangalore city. The builder has provided all the documents for legal verification (including the joint development agreement and released deed). The property (land) belonged to a joint family. Is a Family tree required for taking the final call? My builder shared with me a notarized family tree (prepared in 1995). I request to share a FAMILY TREE ISSUED BY THE STATUTORY AUTHORITY/ Tehsildar, which she said she can't share.

What is the purpose of the family tree in this case? Is it ok to go ahead with the property if the builder is unable to provide a new family tree ISSUED BY THE STATUTORY AUTHORITY/ Tehsildar? Can I proceed With the News Paper Publication, Calling for Objections? I have a pre-approved loan from Bank and they are fine to proceed with the existing document. But I definitely don’t want to get into any trouble later. Please advise.

Many thanks for all your support in advance!!

A.Hello Client,
A family tree is required as the property belonged to a joint family before and it will help in understanding how the property was passed on legally and if there are any names from the same family who still have a right on the property.
