I owe money to my friend
During 2018 - 2019 i have borrowed money (17 lacs) from my friend. It was a mutual understanding that i will return it in a year or 2. However i was hit financially bad and lost lot of money. I have the intention of paying back but cannot afford to pay in lump sum. If my friend files a case in court what are my chances that I can pay him a certain amount on a monthly basis.
my friend and I meet and speak but i am unable to pay him big amounts. I had also given him a cheque under pressure however it was bounced.
A.Hello Client,
Firstly, please tell your friend about your financial situation. Secondly, if he files a case, then you need to prove that you are indeed financially not stable enough to pay through and request the following method of payment to be considered. Also, maybe you can get into a contract with him to repay on a monthly basis.
