Refund of School fee paid

Hi,
My question relates to the school fee paid to an International School in Bangalore, my child was expelled from Grade9 on disciplinary grounds and the school has refused to refund the fees that I have paid for the whole term. I have two questions:
1. The school has violated its own 'Rewards & Conduct' policy wherein it states that there would be multiple written and recorded incidents before the student is rusticated ? In this case there one incident reported 1 year ago ?
2. Can I challenge the school to get refund of the proportionate fee for which the service is not rendered under the Consumer Protection act.
If the school has violated their own policy then you can bring that up and and challenge them regarding the same. About the second question, that would be negotiated.

Thanks for your response, can you pls call me. I need to explore the possibility of filing a lawsuit against the school.
