Maintenance Charge
It's a 2 BHK house, the builder has given us Possession letter on the 01.01.2020 however we had second thoughts on buying the property & didn't proceed for making the final payment on the 31.01.21. Today its 19/02/2023. The society is demanding payment since 2020. Also we came to reside in the flat on the 19/07/2021. Do we have to pay Maintenance since 01/01/2020 or since 31/01/21 or 01/07/21?
A.Hello Sir,
Since you are builder gqve you the possession of the flat in 2020 itself. Soyoh are liable to pay the maintenance to the society. However you can settle the money with the society by stating your facts.
