My bike got seized for not having proper number plate. Due to late registration of my bike I was having TR number on my bike and it was not properly visible so police seized tye bike and imposed sec 420 for evading from challans by not putting proper number plate. Another sections are 177 of MV ACT . Please tell if conviction can come or only I have to pay fine. As police was saying I only need to pay fine in Lokadaalat and case will be closed. As in future I will apply for government job , how can i close this fast.

A.Dear Client

If the police have imposed section 420 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) on you for evading challans by not having a proper number plate, you may need to appear in court and defend yourself against the charges. However, it is also possible that the case could be resolved through Lok Adalat, where you can settle the matter by paying a fine. Please consult a legal expert over this matter.
